Started as an encaustic (hot wax) painting using a small encaustic iron where lots of texture was created, and using digital tools, I spent about an hour digitizing it.
A child of trained fine artists, I caught the creative urge early on in my Dad's large studio. I started on the internet in 1997 after learning to create a web site and was motivated to start designing backgrounds to insert dogs, cats and other animals into. It expanded ultimately to 100 pages. Prob was I was working 60-70 hours a week filling orders so when the print-on-demand sites started to spring up, I jumped on board. I was totally flummoxed when within one year, my accounting manager husband, then near retirement, was able to quit his job.
